Winter Heliotrope presents a collaboration between poet Amanda Bell and artist Donald Teskey based on the River Dodder which runs from its source in the Wicklow Mountains down into the city of Dublin where it enters the River Liffey.
The publication features 12 of Amanda Bell's poems and 13 of Donald Teskey's paintings which portray winter scenes of the Dodder and its environment. With the exception of the frontispiece all of Donald's images are covered with a translucent paper in the same way as 'Tract' by previous edition which featured Hughie O'Donoghue's paintings.
All copies of the book are signed by both Amanda and Donald.
The three editions will be priced as follows;
Standard - £125 plus £6 p&p (UK) - 100 copies numbered
Deluxe - £175 plus £5 (UK) - 26 copies lettered A to Z and housed in a slipcase
Presentation - £1000 plus £15 (UK) - 10 copies numbered I to X housed in a solander box which also includes a signed carborundum print of Donald's and a signed print of one of Amanda's poems. P&P to countries outside the UK will be priced individually.
For the standard and deluxe editions the cost to the Republic of Ireland is £20. The cost to the United States is £35. Other locations will be priced individually.
