For sentimental reasons I will publish Tract on 15th March 2021.

Tract - Poetry by Simon Armitage with 12 illustrations by Hughie O'Donoghue RA

I've adopted a different approach to the design of Tract in that Hughie's images will not appear opposite the text. Both the text and images will appear on the recto. The images will also appear beneath a translucent sheet. The image opposite shows one of Hughie's paintings under the translucent sheet as it appears in the book.

This is for a number of reasons including; the depth of colour in Hughie's images, the idea of 'uncovering' the image as part of an archaeological excavation and, whilst there is no direct relationship between Simon's text and Hughie's images, they are both investigate similar subject matter.

I've created a short video to showcase the book - it can be seen on YouTube here -
https://youtu.be/CLRGnxmOpLg

The three editions will be priced as follows;

Standard - £120 plus £5 p&p (UK) - as at 27th March 2021, all have been sold.
Deluxe - £170 plus £5 (UK) - as at 26th March 2021, these have all been sold
Presentation - £950 plus £15 (UK) - as at 11th March 2021, all 10 of these have sold.

Due to format of the book this is the heaviest book that I've published. As a result costs for shipping to overseas locations have increased. The cost to the Republic of Ireland is £17. The cost to the United States is £33. Other locations will be priced individually.
